Software for businesses that sell on credit and keep their books in TallyPrime.
What we do
Businesses that sell on credit keep their accounts in TallyPrime, on one computer in the back office. Their customers have no way to see what they owe, so every balance question becomes a phone call, and every dispute becomes an argument about whose figure is right.
Northvane gives each of those customers their own login to the exact outstanding balance in the business's own Tally — along with the statements, bills and receipts behind it, which they can download themselves. The owner gets the same books on their phone.
How it works
A small Windows connector runs on the same machine as TallyPrime and mirrors the books to us. It is read-only. It copies out of Tally and never writes back, so nothing we do can alter a business's accounts — Tally stays the single source of truth, and the figure a customer sees is the figure the accountant entered.
Owners sign in on the web or the mobile app. Their customers sign in with a one-time code sent to the mobile number already recorded in the ledger.
Who we build for
Petrol pumps first — fuel is sold on credit to fleets, farms and local businesses, and the outstanding ledger is the pump's largest working-capital problem. The same product fits any Tally-based business with a long credit tail: distributors, building-material dealers, agri-input suppliers.
